As far as reality shows are concerned, nothing comes nowhere near snuff movies; pornographic movies in which, after the sex scenes, one of the actors is tortured and murdered for real in the scene.

Based on the homonymous novel penned by Marcos Fábio Katudjian, the film project Snuff Movie – Depois do Fim do Mundo (“Snuff Movie – After the End of the World”) is a thriller of action and adventure dealing with sex, violence, love and death. Thus, it is a story with an eye on the requirements of the so-called “market-oriented” product, developed for the masses. On the other side, it is a project that won’t give up the responsibility to assert a point of view concerning the world we live in. In the context of downright human squalor, the protagonists live an adventure in which the wild, the wicked, and the bestiality of the modern times are revealed unabashedly. Not dealing with something strange and distant to the human being, our attention is drawn toward a reality inherent to our own condition. Through Fernanda, however – the complex character who brings us to the depths of our inner selves – such condition is expressed and transcended.
